Files by Google gains USB storage support in latest update

Google’s file manager app Files by Google is gaining an important feature with the latest update. You can now access external USB storage that you have plugged into the device.

While not many people use USB storage on their smartphones these days, it’s a nice addition for power users. Here’s the full changelog:

• Access external USB storage device and move files (USB OTG).
• Ability to view full folder structure on the phone or any connected device.
• Minor bug fixes.
