After what looked like an attempt at teasing/intentionally leaking something, Nvidia has finally gotten around to owning the fact that they're going to be selling an Android TV device with 500 GB of storage, and will also be utilizing their new (smoking fast) X1 processor.

With this option along side the 16GB one, gamers will have a few more choices for how they want to rock their Android games. And according to Android Police, Nvidia employee "ManuelG is confirming that not only is the device real, it will be on sale at the same time as the regular Android TV box." This looks like a sweet gaming rig to look forward to, now that it's confirmed to be more than vapor-ware.

On a side note, it looks like the Shield Tablet will be getting the Android 5.1 update real soon, before the Shield Console releases.
