Game development company The Ingenious Bastards Studio will be bringing their upcoming Puzzle-RPG called Lineas Frontiers to Android at some point next year. For this development studio, Lineas Frontiers is one of their major title releases slated for 2015 and is being made using GameMaker Studio Software.

Lineas Frontiers takes players through 8 chapters with over 50 stages in total as you follow the story about a young general leading his army to take back his hometown which is the city of Lineas. Apparently the journey isn't a safe one and players will be thrust into conflict after conflict on their trip home. The Ingenious Bastards are stating that this is a bit more unique than most Puzzle-RPG titles which basically feature Match-3 style gameplay when fighting an enemy.

In Lineas Frontiers, the twist is based on a key element, the pieces of the puzzle. During the battles, the puzzle is composed of soldiers whom actively participate to the battle. Before every battle you’ll be able to choose the composition of your army among more than 20 classes of soldiers unlocked during the game and define your own strategy. - The Ingenious Bastards

Lineas Frontiers Features:

· Create the best formation of soldiers before going on the battlefield
· Follow a great story full of dramas
· Grow stronger each fight, discover new abilities, obtain experience and items
· Hire and master more than 20 new classes of soldiers, each with their own specificities
· 8 chapters of epic battles and gigantic boss-characters to defeat

As for when exactly Lineas Frontiers will hit Android, we do know that a demo and beta testing will happen in January 2015. So we can expect the game to release in full probably in February 2015. Either way we will post an update when the demo and beta testing starts.
