Remove Tapatalk Link Masking with Tapatalk Redirector

tapatalk

Many community members use Tapatalk to browse the forums here at XDA and elsewhere, as this app enables phone and tablet users to easily create short replies without bothering with the full website. However, it certainly has its own set of pros and cons. One of the more annoying aspects of this app relates to its redirected link handling, which leads to additional time when opening external links.

Some time ago, we talked about the CrappaLinks Xposed Module that removes Tapatalk link masking. While this module works great, not everyone can root and install Xposed Framework. Luckily, XDA Forum Member mdxdave created the similar app CrappLinks, which is able to remove the unnecessary link masking without using Xposed. All you need to do is install and set it as the default activity handler when links are opened.

If Tapatalk redirects drive you mad, head over to the application thread and give it a try.
