Huawei Mate 10 Pro appears in leaked images with minimal bezels

Last month we saw a Lite version of Huawei’s upcoming Mate 10 flagship leak, and now the beefier Pro version of the device has surfaced as well.

Images that show off the front and back of the Huawei Mate 10 Pro have been posted by @evleaks. On the front of the device is a 5.99-inch 2880×1440 display with and 18:9 aspect ratio and super slim side bezels, which should help to make the big ol’ screen a bit easier to hold.

Around on the back of the phone there’s a dual rear camera setup with Leica branding. There’s a small design touch to help those cameras stand out, too, in the form of a strip that’s a bit lighter in color than the rest of the Mate 10 Pro’s backside.

Those dual rear cameras are said to be of the 12-megapixel and 20-megapixel variety, complete with an f/1.6 aperture and optical image stabilization. The camera on the front of the phone is reportedly an 8-megapixel sensor.

Inside the Mate 10 Pro’s body, which is said to feature IP68 water and dust resistance, is a Kirin 970 processor and 6GB of RAM. Battery size is rumored to be coming in at 4,000mAh, and it’s said that there will be variants with 64GB and 128GB of storage.

Rounding out the Mate 10 Pro’s feature set is Android 8.0 running below EMUI 6.0.

Huawei is hosting an event on October 16 and the Mate 10 will be shown off there, so it’s possible that we’ll see the Mate 10 Pro at the event, too.

Based on the leaked images and specs, the Mate 10 Pro looks like it could live up to its “Pro” moniker. It’s also nice to see that Huawei may have blue and brown color options for its new high-end device for those of us that like something a bit different from the black, gray, and white paint jobs that we see on so many devices nowadays.

What do you think of this leaked Huawei Mate 10 Pro?
