Samsung to invest nearly $4 billion into producing new OLED panels

Samsung Display has plans to invest $3.6 billion (4 trillion won) into making OLED panels as its parent company looks at ways to offset the drop in smartphone earnings. According to the Reuters report, the company's new production line would focus on medium and small OLED displays for electronics hardware like a tablet or smartphone.
