Xiaomi investigates sales ban in India over patent infringements

Xiaomi has been forced to suspend sales altogether in India due to infringing on patents held by Ericsson, which we already covered yesterday, but the company today released a short statement explaining the situation to customers and potential buyers. The injunction, issued by the Delhi High Court, prohibits Xiaomi from selling, manufacturing or importing devices in the country. The ban is set to be in effect until February 5, 2015 at the very least.
