Today the Samsung Gead VR headset has gotten three additional games and applications added for it on the Oculus Rift store. To be more specific, there is one new game and two new applications, both of which are something you'll want to download for your headset.
The first application is Milk VR by Samsung RAD. In a nutshell this application is a video service that lets you videos that you can either download or stream right to your headset. While this may not seem overly impressive at first, once you realize this is tailored to the Gear VR headset and that it offers up videos with 360 degree viewing, you will realize just how cool this application is. Content will be released for Milk VR on a regular basis and videos will be between 1-10 minutes in length on average.

The second applications is the Matterport VR Showcase which was developed by Matterport. What this application does is basically give full 360 degree tours of properties, whether it be a house you are interested in buying or something else like a virtual tour of an attraction. Companies can have their property transformed through the use of special 3D video cameras which will then take everything (after editing and other steps) that is recorded and make it viewable through your Gear VR headset.
Lastly there is Lunasee by Iridium Studios. This is a pretty cool arcade game that has players using the touchpad to shoot bursts of energy at targets to score points. As the developers best describe this game:
The game uses a betting mechanic that has players race for a high score, shooting down flying targets in an environment totally not similar in any way to anything named Tron. The player uses the touchpad on the side of the device to fire bursts of energy definitely not reminiscent of a mutant with a name anywhere even close to Cyclops.
Iridium Studios has a highly anticipated real-time strategy (RTS) game called There Came An Echo that is also going to be for the Samsung Gear VR that uses a combination of touchpad and voice-enabled controls. We are keeping an eye out for more details on that one.
All three new titles are now available on the Oculus Rift store and can be downloaded for free.
