Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ now receiving Android Pie internationally

Samsung has long been beta testing Android Pie on the Galaxy S9 and S9+, but despite being almost five months after the official release of Pie, the software still hasn’t hit retail units.

That is, until today. International models of the S9 duo are now receiving the official version of Android Pie both from the Pie beta as well as Oreo. It seems that Germany is getting the update first but it should be rolling out to all international models soon. It’s a pretty quick rollout for a Samsung device, all things considered.

With the official release underway, the US should see its own rollout soon. And if you’re into flashing your device, you can pick up the complete firmware from SamMobile.
