Samsung Galaxy S10+ leak shows prototype device with dual front cameras
The Samsung Galaxy S10 leaks continue with a new photo that’s made it’s way online.
An image that claims to show the Samsung Galaxy S10+ has surfaced. The device is labeled “Beyond 2″, and we’ve heard before that that’s the codename for Samsung’s GS10+. As for the phone itself, we can see two front-facing cameras in the upper right corner of the screen, while the other corners are rounded.
There aren’t many other details about this device, but it looks like a prototype model. This leak does appear to back up a Galaxy S10+ leak we saw the other day, though, which showed an alleged render of the GS10+ with dual front cameras in a hole-punch cutout in the upper right corner of the phone’s screen.
Samsung today announced the Galaxy A8s with a hole-punch front-facing camera, suggesting that that’s the direction Samsung might go for its next Galaxy S flagships. Samsung has been one of the few companies that’ve resisted the notch so far, but the Samsung may see the hole-punch as a bit less distracting since it’s over in the corner. Rumors have said that Samsung might announce its new Galaxy S10 flagships in February, so it won’t be long before we know for sure what design direction Samsung is taking.
Would you be ok with a hole-punch front camera setup on the Galaxy S10?
