Marshall finally releases speaker duo with Google Assistant

Marshall is known for its guitar amps and pricey retro-style speakers (and they look pretty sweet). A few months ago the company announced a duo of  Bluetooth speakers called the Stanmore II Voice and Action II Voice with Amazon Alexa baked in, with a Google Assistant version to come.

Now Marshall has made good on its word with the Assistant versions of the two speakers out now. Both feature Google Assistant support, not just with a mic, but a proper far field mic array. They also have built-in Chromecasts and are capable of multi-room casting.

Otherwise they’re the standard speakers you knew before they got virtual assistant capabilities. You get the retro look, beautiful volume, bass, and treble knobs, and price tags of $399 and $299 for the Stanmore II Voice and Action II Voice respectively. If you want to fill your house with some Google Assistant goodness but want something a little fancier than a Google Home, this could be the way to go!
