YouTube TV gaining full DVR control for Fox, Disney, and more
YouTube TV’s DVR feature is getting better.
YouTube announced today that YouTube TV is gaining full DVR playback for channels from AMC, Disney, Fox, NBC, and Turner. YouTube TV says that content from these channels wil be “immediately available for DVR playback.”
You asked, we listened. Enjoy more of your favorite recorded shows with full control to pause, rewind, & fast forward anytime during playback. Thanks to our partners @AMC_TV, @Disney, @FOXTV, @NBCUniversal & @Turner for making their content immediately available for DVR playback!

With this improvement, you should be able to watch DVR versions of more shows, giving you control over them while you watch, including the ability to skip commercials. It can be frustrating to want to watch a DVR version of a show and then be forced to watch a video on demand (VOD) version with ads that you can’t skip, so it’s great to see these channels agree to make their content available for DVR playback.
Do you use YouTube TV? If so, what do you think of it?
