Another LG V40 ThinQ image shows off the notch

We’re well into the year 2018 and we’ve all had to accept the fact that some smartphone manufacturers are going to launch handsets with a notch at the top of the display. LG is not going to buck that trend before the end of the year, it seems.

MySmartPrice has another look at the oft-leaked, but still unofficial, LG V40 ThinQ. It’s a pretty direct look at the front of the handset, and we can clearly see there is a notch at the top of the screen. The bezels on the sides and bottom seem to be reduced quite a bit, which is good news, but for folks who might be fans of high-end LG devices but not so much notches, you’ll have to make a compromise.

Of course, it’s likely that the Life’s Good crew is going to make it possible to “blackout” the notch altogether, so you might not have to deal with it all that often while using the phone.

We don’t have long to wait before LG makes the V40 ThinQ, its newest flagship smartphone, officially official. The company has already confirmed it will be announcing the device on October 3. When it does, we will likely see a device with a 6.3-inch display, that notch, and three cameras on the back (and two on the front!).

Are you starting to get excited about the LG V40 ThinQ?
