Samsung leaks Galaxy Note 9 ahead of official announcement

Another Galaxy Note 9 leak has surfaced today, and this one comes to us directly from Samsung.

Samsung’s New Zealand website today put up a page for Galaxy Note 9, one week before the phone is officially announced. Discovered by Evan Blass, it appears to be a landing page for folks on Samsung’s mailing list. Included is an image of the blue Galaxy Note 9 with a yellow S Pen and a pre-order link, but unfortunately, that link doesn’t actually go anywhere.

The Galaxy Note 9 shown in Samsung’s image lines up with what we’ve seen of the device in previous leaks. It’s got a dual rear camera setup with a fingerprint reader below it along with a 3.5mm headphone jack, USB-C port, and S Pen slot on the bottom of the device. The blue Note 9 is shown with a yellow S Pen, suggesting that Samsung could offer that combo to customers.

It’s expected that Samsung will officially introduce the Galaxy Note 9 on August 9th. Rumors have hinted that the Note 9 will include features like a Snapdragon 845 processor, 4000mAh battery, and a focus on camera improvements.
