Image of Samsung Galaxy S9 in Lilac Purple leaks out

Samsung is going to announce the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ on February 25. Before that happens, the rumor mill is hard at work showing us everything it can about the upcoming smartphones.

This time around, we have serial leaker Evan Blass showing one of the upcoming colors for Samsung’s newest flagship smartphones. According to the image published to Twitter, the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ will be available in a Lilac Purple color. The front of the devices will be black, but the back will have that purple hue.

The way the phone is designed, though, means there is an interesting design when you look at the phone from the side. That purple color has a streak down the middle, but it is sandwiched between two black strips.

This image, unlike the last time we saw the Galaxy S9 leak out, shows us the back of both devices, too. That means we can see that the Galaxy S9 has single camera design but that the Galaxy S9+ does indeed boast a dual camera setup on the back, as the rumors have suggested. The fingerprint reader has also been repositioned on both devices, now installed below the camera setup rather than next to it.

What do you think of the Lilac Purple color for the Galaxy S9?
