Amazon introduces Instant Pickup in five locations in US

There’s yet another free benefit coming to the Amazon Prime subscription. Amazon Instant Pickup allows you to order from a selection of essentials, snacks, and electronics and pick the order up in two minutes or less.

The service is only available in five locations at the moment: Los Angeles, Atlanta, Berkeley, Calif., Columbus, Ohio, and College Park, Md. You’ll be able to make orders via the mobile app and even add things last minute before picking it up.

Head to the Amazon Instant Pickup site to check out the details and if there’s a location near you. In the coming months there should be 22 locations on or around college campuses. It’s definitely an awesome idea to pick up stuff nearby, though it could be argued that going to a store is pretty similar. But this well, you’ll be able to save some money and time standing in lines.
