Moto Z2 Play now available at Verizon

At the beginning of this month, Motorola made the Moto Z2 Play officially official. At the time, the company said the handset would arrive on Verizon Wireless‘ network in the near future, following the exclusive family lineage. And sure enough, the device is now available.

The Moto Z2 Play is available at Verizon beginning today, June 29, and it has a full retail price of $408. If you prefer to go the monthly installment route, Verizon is charging $17 per month for 24 months. And while you can buy the handset right now, the device won’t be delivered until July 6, so keep that in mind.

This model features 3GB of RAM and 32GB of built-in storage (versus the unlocked model that has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of built-in storage and launches later this year), but otherwise it has the same specifications and features as the standard Moto Z2 Play. That means you get a 5.5-inch 1080p HD display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 processor, a 12-megapixel camera on the back and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera on the other side, and a 3000mAh battery. It’s running Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box.

The Z2 Play a sturdy mid-range handset with a price tag that reflects that. If you’re on Verizon’s network and looking for a phone, would you consider picking up the Moto Z2 Play?
