Detach your mind from your body to combat viruses in cyber space in Neural Diver

Neural Diver is a futuristic themed arcade game where players combat viruses in cyber space. However, instead of doing it like we do in this day and age, with anti-virus programs and firewalls, in the future they use elite soldier called Neural Divers who have been trained to detach their minds from their bodies in order to enter cyber space.

Once you are in cyber space, it is a much more literal sense in the terms of combating viruses. More specifically, the game follows the story of one soldier who is sent in to fight a particularly nasty virus that is running rampant through one of Earth's off-world colonies.

Neural Diver Features:

- Retro graphics and sounds that induce the feeling of old retro 3D games (Tempest 2k especially).
- 7 different stages that increase gradually in difficulty (later missions are very challenging) culminating with the fight against a final boss.
- Different weapons and power ups that react in a specific way to different types of enemies

This is the developer's (Clockwork Wolf) first game and for an initial entry into the world of making video games, it is pretty solid. It definitely has that feel that you once got when playing the more older 3D shmup (Shoot 'em up) arcade games. Hopefully we get to see either a whole new expansion, like an episode, added to Neural Diver or at least an update with some additional levels.

You can pick up a copy of Neural Diver off of Google Play for free. It is 100% ad supported so there are no IAPs to deal with either.
