CyanogenMod teases new Theme Store

CyanogenMod has historically featured some form of theming engine. Before the launch of Ice Cream Sandwich, the theming engine was at its peak. However, it was a very disjointed experience. You could set themes you’ve imported, but not much else. But that’s about to change.

Cyanogen has announced the new Theme Store, a fully featured theme engine for the custom ROM. Not only will you be able to change things like icons and wallpapers, but features like fonts, boot animations, status bar icons, and more will be customizable. Cyanogen says that pretty much ever aspect will be customizable.

This new Theme Store is “coming soon” with little more information to go on. Still, it’s nice that CyanogenMod will get some easier customization. Though any aspect of Android is customizable with enough work, an app like this will really help users in ease of use. Check out the video below to see what it can do!
