Sync Notes is a Simple and Elegant Cloud-Based Note Taking Solution

Sync Notes

If you want to jot something down while you’re on the go, there are dozens of ways to go about doing this. Android. You can easily open up a word processing application (like Google Docs) and create a new document with the relevant information. You can also send yourself a quick Email, or even set an alarm to remind you about something at a later time. However, none of these solutions is as simple or streamlined as using a dedicated note taking app–and in many cases, you’ll want one that’s connected to the cloud.

Luckily, Android not only has a lot of apps that can take simple notes, but many of these are also cloud-enabled. Google even has its own first party offering with Keep. However, not everyone lives exclusively in the Keep ecosystem, and many would prefer to have a bit more flexibility in their cloud storage note taking solution. This is where Sync Notes by XDA Forum Member murali comes into play.

Sync Notes, as its name suggests, allows you to take (and sync) notes to the cloud. The app allows you to select from different note fonts and themes, and you’re also able to save and import notes to and from your SD card. Once your notes are created, you can also choose to sync them to either Dropbox or Google Drive (or both). And since the files show up in the cloud as a normal text file, you can use any third party editor to view and modify them remotely. Finally, the interface is very simple and light-weight, which makes Sync Notes a breeze to use for very basic notes, and its categorization abilities also make it suitable for more involved notes.

If you’ve been looking for a better note taking solution, you may want to look into Sync Notes. You can get started by heading over to the application thread.
