AllCast Updated With Tablet UI, Auto-Pause On Incoming Call, And More
It's been a while since AllCast saw a big update, but here one is to brighten your Monday. Koush's media streaming app gains a few new features today, but perhaps his mind has been on other things. The oddly conversational Play Store changelog mentions Game of Thrones in addition to AllCast. I'm hunting for Hodor references in the app, but nothing so far.
Here's what we've got in AllCast v1.1.1.6.
- New tablet UX
- Full screen swiping UI for photos
- Photo slideshow mode
- Auto-pause on incoming call
- Tons of bug fixes
- Hodor for King, 2016
The new tablet interface has a split view that allows you to browse media on one side of the screen while controlling playback on the other. I'm really into this – it works well. The auto-pause feature is a nice addition as well. If you have yet to investigate AllCast, the trial includes the ability to stream a minute of video for testing purposes. The real deal is $4.99.
