Google slashes prices for Google Drive storage; 100GB now $1.99 a month

Google today announced that it was cutting the monthly price for extra Google Drive storage. You'll still get 15GB for free, but if you need more, you'll now pay less, starting at just $1.99 a month for 100 gigabytes. That's a savings of some $60 a year.
