The new Nexus 7 16GB WiFi tablet is already available on Amazon

Even though the new Nexus 7 Android tablets were announced only a couple of days ago and are slated to hit Google Play for purchase on July 30th, 2013, if you happen to be the sort of person that doesn't like waiting a few extra days to order yours then you might want to head on over to Amazon where the $229 WiFi model is already up there for sale.
If you happened to have missed the announcement on Wednesday, the new Nexus 7 tablets are thinner than the current gen ones are. They also have a ridiculously amazing screen which is running at 1920 x 1200 resolution and sporting 323 ppi which is currently the highest resolution for a tablet right now that is available. Interestingly enough, some of the other hardware specs have changed including the chipset powering it.

Nexus 7 2 specs:
- 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro CPU (Quad-core)
- Android 4.3
- 2GB of RAM
- 16 or 32 GB of internal storage
- WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n
- Bluetooth 4.0
- 1.2MP front-facing camera
- 5MP rear camera
- Virtual surround sound
There are a total of three different models of this new Nexus 7 tablet. There is a 16GB and a 32GB Wifi model as well as a 32GB LTE model which is unlocked, meaning it can be used on T-Mobile, Verizon or AT&T right out of the box. The model available on Amazon right now is the 16GB Wifi version which sells for $229.
So if you don't want to wait a few days and want your new Nexus 7 tablet now and this is the model you want, just hit up Amazon and grab one while supplies last.
