ZTE Blade Force for Boost Mobile features 5.5-inch display and 8MP camera

Boost Mobile and ZTE have a new smartphone option that won’t break the bank.

Boost Mobile has officially launched the ZTE Blade Force. It’s available beginning today from Boost’s online store and in participating retail stores for a “promotional price” of $129.99. As far as what you get in a $130 package, there’s a 5.5-inch 720p HD display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 427 processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of built-in storage, and a microSD card slot that supports 128GB cards for expandable storage.

The Blade Force offers Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box and there’s a 3000mAh battery ticking things along. On the back, there is an 8-megapixel camera, and around front there’s a 5-megapixel front-facing shooter. The phone also includes a 3.5mm headphone jack.

One of the most notable features of the Blade Force is its support for HPUE, or High Performance User Equipment. Launched last year by Sprint, this feature will help Blade Force owners to get a stronger wireless network connection compared to other smartphones not equipped with HPUE tech.
