HTC 10 is already being displayed in retail stores

Those who live in Taiwan could walk into a local electronics store and check out the HTC 10 – ahead of today’s official launch. We’re sure someone is in deep water over the mistake, but it appears as if someone forgot to mention to the retail stores that the phone isn’t being unveiled until midnight tonight in Taiwan.

While interested customers are being given the chance to play around with the phone, the HTC 10 isn’t available for purchase quite yet. One rumor claims that the HTC 10 will go on sale on April 15 in Taiwan, but there’s still no word on pricing. The HTC One M8 and HTC One M9 both sold for $650 at launch, but there’s no guarantee that the HTC 10′s price will match that. Those looking to purchase the phone in the North America or Europe will likely have to wait even longer. Depending on which market you are in, the phone will be rolling out to store shelves between the end of April and the middle of May. We’re not sure when specific service providers will start selling the phone, but you’ll likely get your hands on one sooner if you purchase it directly from HTC.
