Google Play update to version 5.1.11 brings visual tweaks, My Account page

The time to update the Google Play store app has come once again.

A new version of the Google Play app is rolling out that bumps it up to version 5.1.11. Included in the update is a full-height navigation drawer that covers the nifty hamburger button that transformed into a back arrow, real-time card shadows for devices on Android 5.0 or higher, improved scrolling and visuals in the My Apps page, and a new My Account page that shows your order history.

While not as massive an update as the recent one that brought with it a Material makeover, this update does seem pretty nice. It tweaks some smaller parts of the app’s design, and the My Account page looks to be a good hub for changing credit cards, redeeming codes, viewing your past orders and more.

You can check for this update by opening the Google Play app, going into Settings and tapping on the build number. If you’d prefer to sideload the update now, you can grab it from the folks at Android Police using the link below.
