Verizon will now take your name and billing info for Moto 360 with metal band pre-order

Motorola may not be launching that all-metal Moto 360 until this fall, but Verizon is happy to take your name and credit card info for one right now.

Verizon is now taking pre-orders for both the silver and black versions of the Moto 360 with a metal band. As expected, the asking price for the metal Android Wear device is $299.99, and orders are expected to ship on November 11. Verizon’s also taking pre-orders for the standard Moto 360 with a leather band, with both the gray and black versions priced at $249.99 and shipping on October 27.

Motorola hasn’t said exactly when the metal Moto 360 will land on our wrists, but November 11 is certainly one possibility. That is technically a part of the fall season, and I’m sure that Motorola wouldn’t mind having the metal Moto 360 on shelves in time for the holiday shopping season. After all, we could see Moto’s round smartwatch sitting pretty atop many a mobile fan’s holiday wish list.

It’s also worth noting that those of you that’ve already purchased a Moto 360 or just can’t wait for the all-metal version to launch will be able to snag the metal band on its own for $79.99 later this year.
