Amazon rolls out single sign-on for Amazon accounts on Kindle Fire

Amazon has gone live with a new feature for Kindle Fire devices called Login with Amazon. As you might expect, this allows developers to automatically use Amazon’s log-in credentials when users sign in to an app. The standard is OAuth 2.0 compliant and supports both Android and iOS, though you’ll only be able to get this single sign-on service on Kindle Fire HDX 7-inch, Kindle Fire HDX 8.9-inch, and Kindle Fire HD 7-inch for now. And more than likely that prototype Amazon smartphone that just leaked out today.
