Samsung hints at new Galaxy phone when talking about camera flashes

Samsung’s labs have been hard at work on some new camera flashes and today, they took a post on Samsung Tomorrow as the perfect place to talk all about them. Unfortunately, most of the post is pretty technical and doesn’t mean much to us except that these new flash modules will output more light and make sure that it’s closer to a natural shade. The interesting part of the article was a tiny little sentence that came up when talking about the new 3432 1.8t flash module.

This sentence mentioned that the ever-interesting 3432 1.8t flash module would be used in the next Galaxy smartphone that will be released later this month. Here’s the actual quote:

Of the latest LED mobile offerings, Samsung’s new reflector-integrated flash LED ─ the 3432 1.8t (FH341A) delivers over 165 lux at 1A and a minimum CRI (Color Rendering Index) of 80, assuring quality photos in daylight and at night. In recognition of such superb performance levels, the 3432 1.8t will be used in the next Galaxy smartphone, which is expected to be introduced later this month.Samsung TomorrowSamsung

While this flash could be used in any new Galaxy smartphone, we’re going to hazard a guess and say that this article is referring to it being used in the Galaxy S5. Why do we think that? Well, it’s highly rumored to be announced this month and aside from a Note device, it’s the only Samsung device that would really warrant being touted as carrying this new flash.
