Google’s Hangouts Chat gets Smart Reply

After rolling Smart Reply to apps like Gmail and Messages, Google is now bringing the time-saving feature to another one of its app.

Hangouts Chat is now getting Smart Reply. The feature is rolling out to all G Suite users and should appear within the next few days.

Smart Reply uses machine learning to give you up to three responses that you can quickly tap to answer a message. With Hangouts Chat, Google says that Smart Reply will recognize which messages most likely need responses and will give you up to three options to choose from. This can help you save some time when reading and responding to messages, and that time can app up.
