Nokia announces Android Pie for five more devices

HMD Global has been doing really well with updates when it comes to the Nokia lineup. One device was even used for testing developer previews of Android Pie before it was out.

The Nokia 7 Plus just received the Android Pie update, but with the announcement of the new Nokia 7.1 the company has announced plans to update five more devices.

The new Nokia 7.1 as well as the older Nokia 6.1, and Nokia 6.1 Plus are getting Pie this month, while the flagship Nokia 8 and Nokia 8 Sirocco will be getting the update sometime in November.

Looking at other brands, this quick rollout of the latest version of Android is very impressive. We have nothing but praise for HMD Global focusing on giving users the best software experience possible.
