Xiaomi teases the Mi Mix 3 again, this time with 5G support
It hasn’t been that long since Donovan Sung, Xiaomi‘s Director of Product Management and global spokesperson, took to Twitter to tease the company’s upcoming Mi Mix 3. Now he’s back with another look at the device, showing off what is probably going to be a pretty big display with minimized bezels along the sides.
While we can’t see the pop-out camera this time around, Sung is teasing something else pretty exciting: 5G support. Sung said in a followup tweet that Xiaomi has “successfully tested 5G data connections on Xiaomi phones, and we can’t wait for the official rollout of 5G next year!”
So there we go, the Mi Mix 3 will support 5G networks when those launch to the public next year. Of course, Xiaomi still isn’t going into any detail about the Mi Mix 3′s specs, price point, or specific launch date. We do know the company will officially announce the handset before the end of this year, though, so Xiaomi fans certainly have something to look forward to.
What do you think of that bezel-less design with the pop-out camera?
