The LG V40 ThinQ leaks out with three rear cameras

The LG V40 ThinQ hasn’t been completely ignored by the rumor mill recently, with reports in June and July hinting at five cameras in total and an October launch date, respectively.

And now here we are in August and the rumors are back. Thanks to the folks over at MySmartPrice we’ve got a look at the upcoming LG V40 ThinQ, which will feature a notch on the top similar to the LG G7 ThinQ, which means future owners will be able to hide it pretty easily if they want.

Meanwhile, the leaked images today also show that the handset will boast three cameras on the back, all in a horizontal line. Some of those previous rumors have suggested LG will outfit the future handset with a standard camera, a super wide angle lens, and a telephoto lens. Around front the V40 ThinQ will boast a pair of front-facing cameras. Those will apparently offer support for a face unlock feature along with all those selfies.

The LG V40 ThinQ will have all the standard buttons (phew!), including the volume rocker and the power button. It looks like the handset will also rock a dedicated button on the side for Google Assistant as well as a USB-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

LG is expected to debut the V40 ThinQ sometime in mid-September, with a launch in October. However, it’s worth noting that this most recent report indicates the V40 ThinQ could launch sometime in the middle of November.

Based on these leaks, and the rumors piling up, do you think you’ll give the V40 ThinQ a shot later this year?
