Samsung Galaxy Note 9′s UK pricing and marketing materials leak; Verizon’s planning a BOGO deal

We are just a couple of days until Samsung will host one of its Unpacked events where we will likely see the unveiling of its newest flagship phablet, the Galaxy Note 9.

However, the rumor mill has not gone quietly into the night and refused to leave any stones unturned leading up to that big date. We’ve seen the handset leak out several different times, with the last couple of instances coming from Samsung itself. And now we’ve got yet another stack of information to go through, most of which is what we’ve heard in previous reports.

The folks over at Winfuture.de have put together a post that outlines some details regarding the Note 9 and have thrown in some marketing materials as well. This report reiterates what we’ve heard in the past regarding specs, including that there will be two variants of the Galaxy Note 9: The base model will feature 6GB of RAM and 128GB of built-in storage, while the other will boast 8GB of RAM and 512GB of built-in storage.

Those specs will come with a price hike, though. According to the report, the base model will cost 899 pounds, while the top-tier model will retail for 1099 pounds. That will more than likely mean the Galaxy Note 9 will cost 999 euros and 1199 euros, or somewhere around $1,200 USD and $1,400 in the United States. That seems pretty high, though.

Meanwhile, today’s leak also includes plenty of marketing material to peruse, including showcasing the new Bluetooth-equipped S Pen, the dual cameras on the back of the Note 9, and the built-in DeX support so you can get a PC-like experience just by plugging the Galaxy Note 9 in, meaning there’s no need for a base station anymore.

That’s not all, though. Over at Droid-Life we get a look at what appears to be an upcoming Buy One, Get One promotion from Verizon Wireless. According to an ad found within the My Verizon app, Verizon will offer this Galaxy Note 9 promotion for pre-orders.

Unfortunately the ad didn’t give anything else away, like pricing or a release date. There is some expectation that Samsung is going to launch pre-orders for the Galaxy Note 9 later this week, so if you’ve been wanting to put down some money for the new handset, you might not have long to wait.

Are you planning on upgrading to the Galaxy Note 9, even if it does cost quite a bit more than what the Galaxy Note 8 retailed for?
