Contacts 3.0 app now rolling out with new white Material Design theme

Google has been on a kick with the new version of Material Design, still under the same mane of our beloved old design but integrating copious amounts of white in every nook and cranny.

The latest version of Contacts (version 3.0) is getting a full white theme and is now rolling out to everyone via the Play Store. Other than the new white theme and new icons in the drawer, no major changes have been made to the app.

We’re sure many people won’t be happy. While the colors were controversial when Android moved away from the dark and futuristic holo theme, getting rid of all the colors for eye destroying white is a move many dislike. Let us know what you think of the new theme in the comments!
