BlackBerry KEY2 LE images and spec details leak out
A new version of the BlackBerry KEY2 is coming soon.
The device you see above is the BlackBerry KEY2 LE. That’s according to a source speaking to Android Police, who shared photos and specs of the device. While the KEY2 LE looks similar to the standard KEY2, the KEY2LE appears to have a different keyboard that may not include the trackpad functionality found on the KEY2.
When it comes to specs, the BlackBerry KEY2 is rumored to feature a Snapdragon 636 processor, 4GB of RAM, 32/64GB of storage, and a 3000mAh battery. It’s got a 4.5-inch 1620×1080 LCD screen, too, along with a dual rear camera setup that includes 13MP and 5MP sensors.
Compared to the KEY2, the KEY2 LE has a few lesser specs. For example, the KEY2 comes with a Snapdragon 660 processor, 6GB of RAM, and a larger 3500mAh battery. Considering those changes, it seems likely that the KEY2 LE will be a more affordable version of the standard KEY2. We don’t yet know exactly how the KEY2 LE will be priced, but if you’re a fan of physical keyboards but you don’t feel like paying $650, you may want to keep an eye out for this thing.
