OnePlus is teasing water resistance for the OnePlus 6

We have officially entered the phase where OnePlus is teasing the OnePlus 6. We know future owners will be able to hide the notch, and the company has already confirmed we can expect some specs like a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor under the hood.

But there is quite a bit more to tease for the upcoming OnePlus 6, as OnePlus made apparent by its Twitter account recently. The marketing team published a looping video of water droplets landing on a dark surface with text that reads “Don’t you just hate it when you have to stop using your phone when it rains? So do we”. They included a winking emoji, letting us all in on the hint.

Based on this tease, future owners of the OnePlus 6 can expect their device to have some level of water resistance. Using the phone in the rain looks like it will be a standard feature, which is a nice addition to be sure.
