Verizon launching Galaxy S9 Buy One, Get One deal on March 16

Tomorrow’s launch day for the Samsung Galaxy S9, and to celebrate, Verizon is kicking off a special deal on the new Android flagship.

Beginning March 16, Verizon will offer a Buy One, Get One deal on the Samsung Galaxy S9. To get this deal, you’ll need to buy a Galaxy S9 or S9+ on a device payment plan, then add at least one new line of service. You’ll then get $799.99 in credits spread out over 24 months to cover the cost of your second S9.

This deal doesn’t require any kind of specific plan or trade-in. While the requirement of a new line of service will likely turn some people off, this is a pretty nice deal for anyone that could use a new Verizon line, as it’ll get you a brand new Android flagship for nothing.

If you know someone who prefers iOS, then you can tell them that Verizon is also launching an iPhone deal on March 16. Starting tomorrow, Verizon will offer up to 50 percent off an iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, or iPhone X with eligible trade-in.

This deal requires you to buy your phone on a device payment plan, sign up for a Verizon unlimited plan, and trade in an eligible device. You’ll then get a discount on a new iPhone in the form of bill credits spread out over 24 months.
