Top 5 most popular Android apps from last week: Phone, Readably

Every week we cover new Android apps with Fresh Meat on Wednesday, followed by Android Gaming on Thursday and Top 10 App Updates on Friday. When Monday rolls around, we look back to see which apps were the most appealing to our audience. Read on for the five most popular Android apps from last week. These apps are ones that are most likely new and haven’t appeared in the top five list more than three times.

1. Phone

Phone

App info: Update the Phone app for your Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) or newer device to improve your calling experience and gain control over calls with features like Google Duo video calling, spam protection and caller ID.

2. Stories – Timeline Diary / Journal, Mood Tracker

Stories

App info: Rediscover the joy and power of diary/journal-keeping with Stories. Beautiful timeline design. Relive your memories in style. Mood tracking. Rediscover feelings and emotions at any given point in your life. Contextually rich entries. Remember more than just thoughts and feelings; attach information.

3. Lifes Game: Make Everyday a Game

Lifes Game

App info: Lifes Game gives you the complete power. Categorically input different objectives in your life, and receive encouragement as well as a vast number of statistics on your progress. Setup different rewards for yourself to work towards, so when you earn them, you can experience the true value of their cost.

4. Stations by Spotify

Stations by Spotify

App info: Stations is the easiest way to listen to the music you love. Totally free. When you have access to all the music in the world, finding the right thing to play can feel like a challenge. With Stations, you can listen immediately, and switching stations is simple and seamless–no searching or typing needed.

5. Readably – RSS Reader

Readably

App info: RSS is the best medium to follow the things you’re passionate about and to read your favorite writers. But most RSS apps get in the way of enjoying good writing, they’re just too cluttered.

Note:  To ensure that all apps receive a fair chance to make the list, we will retire any app that has made the list for three consecutive weeks.
