Unlocked HTC 10 now receiving Android 8.0 Oreo update

Android 8.0 Oreo continues to find its way to more devices, and HTC is now upgrading another one of its handsets.

If you own an unlocked version of the HTC 10, then keep an eye out because your handset is now receiving Android 8.0 Oreo. According to Android Police, the update is now rolling out to handsets out in the wild. If it hasn’t already arrived on your device, it should be there in the next few days. The update version is 3.16.617.2.

HTC had already confirmed the Android 8.0 Oreo update was on the way to the unlocked HTC 10 in the early part of 2018, so it’s good to see the company keeping up with its own timetable. If you haven’t already received the update, it should arrive soon, so keep an eye out.
