Sony Xperia XA2, XA2 Ultra, and L2 leaked images show off bezels
While 2017 was the year that saw minimized bezels really take off, some companies aren’t ready to fully adopt that design just yet.
One such company is Sony, which just had three of its upcoming handsets leaked by VentureBeat ahead of their official announcement. The leak shows off the Xperia XA2 Ultra, the XA2, and the Xperia L2, each of which clings to Sony’s aging Xperia design for at least one more year.
The Xperia XA2 Ultra, which you can see pictured at the top of this article, is poised to feature a 6-inch display with a resolution of 1080p, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of built-in storage, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor under the hood, a 21MP camera on the back, and a 7MP front-facing camera.
Meanwhile, the Xperia XA2 (pictured just above) will have a 5.2-inch 1080p HD display, the same Snapdragon 630 processor, 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of built-in storage. The handset is expected to run Android 8.0 Oreo on board out of the box, and there will be a 21MP camera on back capable of recording 4K video. It’ll also have a 7MP front-facing camera.
Last but not least is the Sony Xperia L2 (pictured just above), which will reportedly feature a 5.2-inch display with a resolution of 720p and run Android Nougat.
Each of these handsets is expected to be unveiled soon, but there is some uncertainty whether Sony will showcase them at the CES next week or during MWC in February.
So, what do you think of Sony’s upcoming Xperia smartphones?
