Verizon deal will get you up to 50 percent off Pixel 2 or Pixel 2 XL with trade-in

In the U.S., you can buy a Pixel 2 or Pixel 2 XL from a few different retailers, but a new deal may make buying from Verizon the most enticing way to go.

Verizon is now offering up to 50 percent off the Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL. To get this deal, you’ll need to buy one of the new Pixels with monthly payments and trade in a qualifying device. You’ll then get a trade-in credit applied over 24 months.

There are many different devices that qualify for trade-in, with values varying depending on the age of the device. For example, the Galaxy S5 will get you 25 percent off, while the Galaxy S7 will get you 50 percent off.

Here’s the full list of smartphones that are eligible for trade-in along with their values:

This is a pretty solid deal on Google’s Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL, which are less than a month old at this point. You will need to stick with Verizon for 24 months to get the deal, but if you do, you can save some real money on a new flagship. So if you’re already on Verizon or are willing to switch, this is a deal worth considering.
