Google Express partners with Target; adds shopping via Assistant

Google Express was created to connect shoppers with their favorite stores, acting as a hub where users can order products and have them delivered quickly, ranging from same-day delivery to slightly longer offerings. Today, Google Express is getting a big boost in its product selection with the addition of Target as a partner store. Customers can now shop Target products via Google Express with two-day delivery and free shipping for orders over $35.

Beyond the partnership with Target, Google is expanding to Google Express shopping to Android and iPhone users through the Google Assistant. Customers will be able to ask the Assistant to “buy (product) from (store),” and receive results instantly, with the option to quickly buy and have it shipped to their home. This feature will roll out to smartphones soon, allowing the category to join the Google Home and Android TV in offering voice shopping through Google Express.
