Samsung Galaxy Note 8 sets pre-order record

Following the Galaxy Note 7 fiasco last year, there were plenty of questions regarding Samsung’s future. Could the company bounce back?

The Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ have effectively answered that question by now, but of course the Galaxy Note 8 is the real test. Would customers be willing to jump on board with the brand following exploding batteries from last year? According to Samsung, they have.

Samsung says that more people have pre-ordered the Galaxy Note 8 than any previous Galaxy Note device within the same period of time. For those who haven’t yet pre-ordered, the company is throwing in expedited shipping, which means delivery will happen on or before September 14.

On top of that, Samsung drops a hint that if you pre-order a Samsung Gear VR with Controller, you could get that order early, too.
