Samsung Galaxy Note 8 leak gives us a clear look at the upcoming flagship
Samsung is holding an event on August 23rd, and it’s likely that that’s where we’ll get to meet the Galaxy Note 8. As with most other flagship smartphones, though, images of the Note 8 are leaking out ahead of its official reveal.
A new image of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 has been posted by reliable leakster Evan Blass. The render shows off the front of the Note 8, which looks like a boxier Galaxy S8. There’s the Infinity Display with curved edges and minimal bezel, and the lack of a physical home button suggests that the Note 8 will have on-screen navigation buttons like its S8 sibling.

While this leak doesn’t show us the back of the Note 8, a previous report suggested that it’ll be the first Samsung phone with a dual rear camera setup. Also rumored to be included is a rear fingerprint reader located to the right of those cameras, 6GB of RAM, an Exynos 8895 or Snapdragon 835 processor (will vary between markets), and a 6.3-inch 18.5:9 Super AMOLED display.
Nothing is official until Samsung says it is, but the Note 8 shown in this leak looks just about what you’d expect a Note 8 to look like. It combines the boxier look of recent Note phones with the new design found on the Galaxy S8 to give us a device that looks pretty sharp. Now we just have to wait a few weeks to handle the thing for ourselves.
