Renders of upcoming Huawei Mate 10 leak

Last year’s Huawei Mate 9 was a great device and the upcoming Mate 10 is looking to be even better. A few renders have leaked of the device, showing a departure from the curved back to a flat back and squared off frame.

There is also a display with minimal bezels and rounded corners, similar to what Samsung used on the Galaxy S8. This display is rumored to be a 6.1-inch QHD AMOLED panel, replacing last year’s 5.9-inch 1080p LCD. Other rumored specs are 6GB of RAM, 64GB of storage with a microSD card, and a Kirin 970 processor (claimed to be equivalent to the Snapdragon 835).

Other features like the 4,000mAh battery, USB Type-C connector, and Leica-branded dual camera setup remain. We do see an extra button in the position where a camera button would be, so we hope that’s what it is. We don’t need another virtual assistant.

The device is definitely looking good, being more high end than last year’s phone. We look forward to Huawei’s announcement!
