Galaxy Note 8 achieves A+ grade from DisplayMate
After fires, recalls, and investigations plagued the lifespan of the Galaxy Note 7, Samsung needed a powerful device to reboot the series. The company spent months designing and creating the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, which sets a new precedent for flagship smartphones. Perhaps the most impressive component is the 6.3-inch Quad HD+ display (2960×1440), which stretches from edge-to-edge with a curved Infinity Display design.
Samsung’s hard work paid off, as the Note 8′s display has received an A+ grade from DisplayMate. This grade is the highest that DisplayMate bestows on devices, giving the Note 8 the title of Best Performing Smartphone Display.
With the release date just two weeks away, Samsung is racking up acclaim for the Galaxy Note 8. If the trend continues, then the Note 8 is on track to become one of 2017′s most successful smartphones. More importantly, revitalizing the Note brand would mark a much-needed win for Samsung, as it works to maintain its spot at the top of the tech food chain.
