Cricket Wireless will offer more high-speed data for its $40 plan

Right now, Cricket Wireless has a $40 rate plan that offers 3GB of high-speed data per month. That will be changing tomorrow, though.

Cricket has announced that beginning on May 12, the $40 rate plan will offer 4GB of high-speed data per month. Folks already subscribing to the $40 plan will get the new monthly data allotment automatically, so you won’t have to make any calls.

Cricket also points out that if a customer signs up for Auto Pay, their monthly bill will get a $5 discount per month, so the plan is actually only $35 per month.

It’s not a huge change, but an extra gig of high-speed data per month is certainly a welcomed one.
