Wakfu Raiders is getting into the Christmas spirit with a new holiday themed update

gumi inc's popular RPG Wakfu Raiders has gotten a holiday themed update which decks the entire game out in the holiday spirit. However, it isn't all about changing the look of the game to feel all Christmas-y. The update also brings three new characters into the game, new chapters in the storyline to play through, and a bunch of other goodies as well.

The three new characters debuting with this update are the cranky holiday exclusive warrior Father Kwismas, the thief Rubio Goldgun, and the gym junkie Mhandal. While Rubio and Mhandal are available in the Summoning Portal, and will remain there, Father Kwismas will only be available between Dec. 21st and Dec. 27th. After that week, you won't be able to get that character again.

New story chapters have been added to two regions for players to work their way through: the fiery region of Brakmar and on the snowy island of Chillberg. Like any new chapter additions to this game, players will also have to deal with new monsters that they will need to defeat in both new regions. The update also brings new holiday-themed events and dungeons to play.

There is the new Christmas Bounty events where players will get to amass more loot and prizes, a Christmas Vortex dungeon, and the Christmas Present Hunt mini-game. All three events will also be running through the same week that Father Kwismas will be available, Dec.21st - 27th.

Players have a few other extra additions to the game with this update which includes a new Hell difficulty for Crypt mode and a new 3-element combo attack. That is, of course, outside of all the holiday-themed decorations throughout the entire game itself. This update is now live and can be downloaded at any time off of Google Play.
