Verizon Talks About a New “Sponsored” Data Feature Coming in 2016

In a recent interview with Verizon Executive VP Marni Walden, we are told that Verizon is working on a way for partners to "sponsor" all or a portion of the data used by a customer. This is reminiscent of toll-free calling for telephones, so Verizon feels it should fit in very nicely with mobile data usage as well.
